Mr. Olutola Mobolurin is a distinguished finance executive, Founder, and Chairman with over 40 years of experience in the financial services sector, bringing decades of leadership expertise in investment banking and capital markets. He is the Founder and pioneer Managing Director of Capital Bancorp Plc, a firm he established in 1988 and led until 2009. Prior to founding Capital Bancorp, he worked at Continental Merchant Bank Limited (formerly Chase Merchant Bank) from 1979 to 1988, eventually resigning as Deputy General Manager.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mobolurin has sat on the boards of several blue-chip companies. He has served as Chairman of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Plc, Chairman of NASD Limited (an OTC Trading Platform), and Chairman of Crusader-Sterling Pensions Limited. He also previously held the dual role of Vice Chairman and Managing Director at Crusader Nigeria Plc.

In addition to his corporate leadership, he has held numerous key industry roles. He served as the President and Chairman of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) from 2001 to 2003 and was a Council Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). At the regulatory level, he served as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Committee on the Reactivation of the Bond Market in Nigeria in 2000, and as an Assessor and Part-time Member of the Investment and Securities Tribunal in 2002.

Academically, Mr. Mobolurin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York, Binghamton (1975), and a Master of Business Administration from York University, Toronto (1977). Professionally, he became an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1978 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
