The local bourse closed the final trading session of the week in negative territory as selling pressure across Banking and Insurance counters outweighed gains in Oil & Gas and Commodity stocks.

Consequently, the NGX-ASI declined by 0.29% to 239,351.16 points, bringing the weekly loss to 1.35%. Market capitalisation similarly declined by 0.29% to NGN154.53 trillion.
