Mrs. Cecilia Osipitan is a Non-Executive Director with over 30 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry. She was appointed as a Director of Capital Bancorp Plc in [xxxxxx], where she represents the interests of Great Nigeria Insurance Plc on the Board. She currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Great Nigeria Insurance Plc, a position she has held since 2009.

Prior to her current appointment, Mrs. Osipitan held several prominent executive leadership roles within the sector. She served as the Managing Director and CEO of Insurance PHB Ltd. from 2008 to 2009, and as the Managing Director and CEO of UNIC Insurance Plc from 2006 to 2008. She built a significant part of her career at Royal Exchange Assurance Nigeria Plc between 1990 and 2005, where she rose through the ranks to the position of Executive Director.

Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ibadan (1984), a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lagos (1997), and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Lagos (2007). Additionally, she completed the Chief Executive Programme at the Lagos Business School in 2007. Professionally, Mrs. Osipitan became an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (ACII) in 1995. She also serves as a Member of the Governing Council of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and is an active member of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA).
